About Me
I am currently a doctoral candidate (on the 2021-2022 job market) in the Department of Finance at Tippie College of Business, University of Iowa.
My primary research interest is in the areas of empirical corporate finance and entrepreneurship, with a focus on topics related to capital structure, corporate culture, compensation contracting and private equity. My job market paper studies the effects of international corporate diversification on firm’s financing policies using the textually constructed sales network of offshoring firms.
I received my undergraduate degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi and my master’s degree from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, both majoring in finance. Prior to my PhD studies, I have also served in academia as both an Assistant Professor and a Visiting Faculty at the University of Delhi.
